In celebration of Fairtrade Fortnight, Yarde Cafe is hosting three afternoon films on three successive Sundays beginning with:

BLACK GOLD: WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE

Highly provocative documentary that will change the way you drink a cup of coffee forever. Black Gold tells the story of Tadesse Meskela and 74,000 Ethiopian coffee growers and their fight against Western exploitation. It explores the truth behind each coffee and cappuccino, and demands that each and every one of us wakes up and smells the coffee: wakes up to reality and seeks to take action about unfair coffee trade.
