We now have toilets and shower facilities for campers which are separate from the bunkhouse. The following camping options are available:

Own tent: £6 per person per night with use of toilets and hot shower (pitches are only suitable for backpacking/cycletouring tents - not large frame tents). Up to 20 small tent pitches are now available following the expansion of our site onto a neighbouring farm field.

*Our 12ft yurts (2 available): Sleep <3 adults or 2 adults, 2 children on mattresses or camp beds. £35 for yurt with own sleeping bags. + £3 per person with full bedding. Small wood burning stoves for heating. Fuel provided (stove requires adult supervision)

*Our 20ft yurt: Sleeps <8 on mattresses or camp beds. £70 per night (<8 occupants) with own sleeping bags + £3 per person with full bedding. Wood-fired mini range provides heating and simple cooking using hob top and small oven. Fuel provided (stove requires adult supervision)

Our 2 person Vango Force Ten traditional ridge tents: Up to four available. Own sleeping bag(s)
£15 per tent.

* Safety requirement: Please note that yurts are heated with woodburning stoves and may not be suitable for families with young children. If you use stoves, children will require careful supervision at all times.

Please note: Bookings are taken on the understanding that the quoted capacities of our accommodation are not exceeded.

NB: please note that the self-catering facilities in the bunkhouse may not be available to campers if the bunkhouse is full or has been booked for exclusive use. A covered barbecue/cooking area with primus stoves and firepit are available for campers to use as an alternative. Local charcoal from a sustainably managed source is available on request at a small charge. Campers are free to use their own stoves but open fires must be confined to the designated firepits.

During summer opening, and by arrangement at other times of year, the cafe and bar will normally be available during the evening for suppers and for breakfast.
